Baoma EDM

Baoma is an ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 certified company in China, manufacturing CNC Electric Discharge Machines (EDMs) & other machining tools. This company has the largest market share in China due to its excellent quality machining tools. The company has in house manufacturing facilities and the castings are aged naturally to relieve the residual stresses. The complete machine, including the sheet metal work and panel wiring is done in house under strict quality control. The CNC EDM's, CNC Drilling EDM, CNC Wire cut EDM are manufactured and supplied by BAOMA are highly reliable and have been exported to USA, Europe, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, South East Asian Countries and Middle East Countries, etc The CNC controller is PC based and works on a user friendly software developed by BAOMA. The user can just enter the component drawing in Autocad or DXF format and the software generates the necessary program based on standard parameters available in the system. The customer has the option to alter these parameters based on their experience to suit their requirements. Also, the correctness of the part program can be checked before cutting, by checking the wire path travel graphically on the display.

The elements such as Ball screws, LM guides, couplings, etc are of the highest quality imported brands. All the machines undergo a 24 hour running test before the machines are dispatched. The following models of EDMs are being offered:

The high speed wire cut EDMs can cut various shapes of metal moulds and templates with Ra 1.0µm and precision 0.012mm.Besides, this machine can cut large parts, such as big taper 90 degree, max. height 1000mm and Length x Width of 1200mm x 2000mm. It can basically replace slow speed machines.

This machine is available in a table size of 750mm x 500mm. The axes are equipped with LM guides and the work table is of marble material which is rust proof, erosion and distortion resistant, maintaining stability for a very long time. The maximum machining speed achieved is 180mm2 / min (dia 0.25mm Brass wire).

The spark erosion or forming EDMs are available in table sizes of 600mm x 350mm, 700mm x 420mm, 800mm x 500mm and 1100mm x 650 mm. The machines have a maximum processing speed of 400 mm3 / min. The optimal roughness obtained is 0.4 µm.

This machine is suitable to drill holes in various conductive and semi - conductive material such as stainless steel, chilled steel, solid carbide, copper, aluminium, etc.
