The high speed wire cut EDMs can cut various shapes of metal moulds and templates with Ra 1.0µm and precision 0.012mm.Besides, this machine can cut large parts, such as big taper 90 degree, max. height 1000mm and Length x Width of 1200mm x 2000mm. It can basically replace slow speed machines. And what's more, price of this kind of machine is just about 1/4th of slow speed EDMs, and at the same time decreasingcutting cost greatly.
The machines are available in various configurations of table size starting from 635mm x 415 mm upto 2440mm x 1330mm.
The machine uses a molybdenum wire with saponification fluid for high speed cutting. The traveling speed of the wire is 5000 ~ 8000mm / min. Taper cutting and processing of different shapes at the top and the bottom is possible on the machine & other machining tools.
The PC based CNC controller has a 20 GB hard disk and the software offered by BAOMA is very user friendly, with a lot of advanced features available. |
