In house machining facilities which include Advanced five face machining centers, fine jig boring machines, spindle grinding machines and AMADA sheet metal production line coupled with high accuracy measuring equipment ensure the quality of the product. The positioning accuracies of the machines are ± 10 microns & repeatability ± 5 microns.

High rigidity cast iron bed, hydraulic turret, tailstock with hydraulic quill stroke. LM guides use are from THK and ball screws from PMI. Angular contact bearings from FAG Precision for spindle ( 3 front and 2 rear) ensure high rigidity & high accuracy of the spindle for heavy duty cutting. The spindle is assembled in a constant temperature clean room. All the machines are tested and confirmation about adherence to performance and accuracies is obtained before the machines are shipped out. Machines are available with Chuck sizes from 6" upto 15" and maximum turning length of 1500mm. Machines can be supplied with Fanuc, Siemens and
Mitsubishi Controllers

Available in three sizes. The cutting diameter and length are 630mm x 400mm, 800mm x 840mm and 1000mm x 840mm. The spindles are A2-11 and the spindle front bearing is large for higher rigidity. All the machines are equipped with spindle through hole as standard. The machines are work horses capable of heavy duty cuts.

The machine has a table size of 600 x 360mm and BT 30 spindle. Rapid traverse rates are 36/ 36/ 30 for X /Y / Z Axes. With a 12 tools drum type ATC, the machine is excellent in performing fast drilling / tapping operations and also milling in Aluminium components. Spindle power is 3.7 / 5.5 KW.

Models are available with table sizes from 800mm x 500mm to 1800mm x 1000mm. Spindles are available in belt driven and gear driven configuration. The spindle taper can also be offered in BT 40 and BT 50 to suit the machining requirement. The ATC is available in umbrella type and twin arm type with tool magazine. The machines can be supplied with 4th Axis option with various sizes of CNC rotary tables. Rigid construction and the use of quality components makes the machines excellent performers.

Double column vertical machining centers are available in table sizes of 2000mm x 1250mm, 3200mm x 1600mm, 4000mm x 1600mm, 6000mm x 1600mm, 3000 x 2000mm, 4000mm x 2000mm and 6000mm x 2000mm. Fanuc 18i controller is standard for the machine. Siemens 840 D controller is offered as option. A 24 tools ATC is standard and the tool magazine of 32, 40, 50 and 60 tools is available as option. BT 50 spindle taper is standard on all the machines. The table is designed to work comfortably with heavy loads.

RIFA offers Horizontal machining centers in table sizes of 500 x 500mm, 630 x 630mm, 800 x 800mm and 1000 x 1000mm. The machinesspindles have rpm of 60 ~ 6000 upto 630 x 630mm table size and 30 ~ 4500 rpm above this size. The machines are basically designed for heavy duty cutting of steel components and castings. The machines can be provided with or without pallet changer.

RIFA has now launched a 400 x 400mm table size HMC (single pallet model) for production line applications.
